Counselor referral form for students, teachers, and parents.

  Our Vision

The students at Northwoods Elementary School are high-achieving learners who are prepared to graduate college and are career ready. As global leaders, they are equipped for the challenges, responsibilities, and contributions of the 21st century. All students participate in a rigorous curriculum which encourages personal growth, leadership, stewardship, and responsibility for ethical behavior. The comprehensive school counseling program vigorously supports student achievement and forges partnerships with parents, staff, and community stakeholders who are passionate about both life-long learning and each child's potential to succeed at the highest level. Our students are prepared to make a significant difference in the lives of others in their communities.

This Vision aligns with the Elementary School Counseling program of Onslow County: Motivate, Educate and Advocate for student success!

The mission of the Onslow County Elementary school counseling program is to guide students in achieving academic, personal/social, and career success. We will support students in acquiring the attitude, knowledge and interpersonal skills to help them understand and respect self and others. School counselors will provide students with opportunities to investigate the world of work and make informed career decisions.
